The Canadian Central European Bureau (CCEB) is an independent platform dedicated to promoting stronger ties between Canada and the countries of Central Europe: Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary.

 

Our mission is clear: to share information widely in both regions so that opportunities become visible, connections multiply, and cooperation grows.

 

We believe that economic opportunity begins with visibility. Given the current economic climate in both Canada and Central Europe, now is the right time to explore new options and take new paths. That’s why we produce and share articles and videos — distributed widely across platforms — to showcase people, organizations, and initiatives that are building bridges between our regions.

 

We encourage any business, institution, or organization with an interest in Canada or Central Europe to reach out to the CCEB. Being featured means being seen — and being seen means being known by the right people. The more we share, the more contacts and connections are created, making it easier for companies to quickly find the means and partners they need to succeed in the other region.

 

Through strategic communication, cultural outreach, and targeted economic engagement, the CCEB helps to:

• Promote Canada in Central Europe – and Central Europe in Canada

• Encourage dialogue between businesses, and institutions

• Build networks that support trade, investment, and cultural exchange

• Facilitate the creation or safeguarding of jobs through stronger bilateral links

 

We work with business leaders, diplomats, public institutions, chambers of commerce, and cultural organizations who want to reimagine how Canada and Central Europe can cooperate.

 

From high-level meetings to grassroots initiatives, our goal is to:
